The Deeter Group s American Massillon
office has been incorporated in the state of OHIO, renamed Deeter Electronics
Inc. and relocated to a new facility in Canton, OHIO, to better serve the North
American OEM market. Operating from its new Canton office, Deeter Electronics
Inc. will continue to promote the group s lines of condition sensors, litz
wire, magnet wire and industrial weighing equipment. This new location offers
significantly more space and better facilities to cope with the planned
expansion.
Deeter has designed and manufactured printed circuit boards, electronic control circuits, load measuring equipment, condition sensors and software for the OEM markets of Europe and Asia for the last nineteen years. However, although a large number of Deeter Electronics Inc. products have found their way to North America by being incorporated into the designs of European or Asian manufactured equipment destined for the American market, Deeter products previously were available to American OEM s only on a very limited basis.
The location in Canton was chosen because of its proximity to major transportation gateways in the American Midwest and its closeness to some existing users of Deeter Electronics Inc. products. The new location is easily accessible from interstate 77 and within a sixty-minute drive from the Akron, Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh airports.
Sales engineer Craig Harnish, a native of Ohio,
heads up the new office. Craig is a graduate of Stark State College and Kent
State University, from which he received degrees in Electronic Engineering and
Economics. Formerly with Rexel USA, the American division of the Paris based
electrical distributor, he joined Deeter December 2001, bringing fifteen years
of sales management, engineering and marketing experience to the group.
