controller-and-cable-600x600The Deeter Group is pleased to announce the newest addition to our range of Leak Detector Systems, the LKC-1500 Cable Leak Detector. Perfect for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, our new cable leak detector system is made up of an LKC-1500 controller as well as various lengths of sensing cable.

The LKC-1500 controller is able to identify a leak along the length of the sensing cable and has a variety of process outputs. These outputs include two SPDT relays to directly control mains powered pumps, valves or alarms, an open-collector transistor for connection to a programmable logic controller (PLC), building management system (BMS) or for indirectly driving further valves or pumps via an external relay and finally an RS485 serial communications port for remote monitoring. The controller is capable of detecting a broken or improperly terminated sensing cable, and the relay and transistor outputs can be assigned to respond to a leak or to a fault.

The length of sensing cable that can be used with each controller is between 15m and 1500m and the leak position is measured along this length of cable. An interconnecting cable can be used to connect two separate sensing cables together, giving users more flexibility when placing the cable.

Water damage is one of the most common types of property damage and preventing this can save property owners a lot of money in the long run. Our Intelligent Leak Detector Sensors are able to detect even the smallest amount of moisture and will send a signal to the Intelligent Leak Detector Controller. The Controller can identify each sensor and provide information about the location of any leak whenever a leak is detected. The controller also has a variety of outputs which may be used to directly drive pumps and alarms, or to interface with other equipment such as a Building Management System (BMS).

When used in conjunction with the deeternet® Wireless Gateway it allows the monitoring of up to 1200 Intelligent Leak Detector Sensors at any one time. This combination of two of our newest products will be instrumental in preventing water damage in many different types of building including, but not limited to:

  • Apartment Buildings
  • Offices
  • Hotels
  • Resorts
  • Villas
  • Care Homes
  • Warehouses
  • Factories
  • Care Homes

Using this configuration the Wireless Gateway can be connected to the internet in order to allow the user to actively monitor the current status of all Intelligent Leak Detector Sensors within their system. The system can also be configured to allow users to remotely access the Wireless Gateway sensor data and they can be notified via email or SMS of the location of any leak that has been found. This allows any leak to be responded to as quickly as possible, avoiding any critical water damage to the property.

Intelligent-Leak-Detector-with-Sensors-600x400
Perfect for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, our new Intelligent Leak Detector System is made up of an Intelligent Leak Detector Controller as well as Intelligent Leak Detector Sensors. Improving on the technology used in our current Leak Detector System, the new Intelligent Leak Detector System can identify the location of every single leak within the system.
The Intelligent Leak Detector Controller has a variety of outputs which can be used for a number of different functions such as controlling mains powered pumps, valves and alarms. The controller can also be connected to a programmable logic controller (PLC) or a building management system (BMS). These outputs can be independently assigned to respond to any leak or leaks within the system or alternatively they can be assigned to a fault condition.
Up to 80 Intelligent Leak Detector Sensors can be used in a system at any one time and the maximum cable length between sensors is approximately 200m, although an extra sensor can be added to act as a signal repeater for cable lengths greater than 200m.

The Deeter Group manufactures three different types of liquid dispensers as part of its deeterflow range: the deeterflow Low Volume Liquid Dispenser, the deeterflow Liquid Volume Dispenser and the deeterflow Automatic Liquid Dispenser. This variety of dispensers that we offer allows them to be used in an array of different industries including but not limited to the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, automotive and chemical industries.

The deeterflow Low Volume Liquid Dispenser can produce volumes between 0.025 litres and 10 litres, accurately measuring volumes over a flow rate range of between 0.2 and 2.5 litres/minute, and the deeterflow Liquid Volume Dispenser can produce volumes between 0.10 litres and 100.00 litres, accurately measuring volumes over a flow rate range of between 0.6 and 5 litres/minute. Both of these dispensers are gravity fed and designed to deliver a measured volume of liquid at the press of a button.

The deeterflow Automatic Liquid Dispenser can produce volumes between 0.20 litres and 100.00 litres and accurately measures volumes over a flow rate range of between 0.05 and 5 litres/minute. Our Automatic Liquid Dispenser is configured for simple operation – all the user has to do is select a volume, press a button and the dispenser will deliver the required volume with no further input required. The Automatic Liquid Dispenser offers many custom liquid dispensing options and can deliver fluids either by the press of a button, by an external input signal, or automatically by means of an internal timer which can be selected to start dispensing at regular intervals or start dispensing at set times of the day, on a daily or weekly basis.

The complete deeterflow range is fitted with John Guest Speedfit push-fit connectors for fluid in and out operations and each one can be calibrated to dispense a wide variety of fluids. The dispensers also have the ability to compensate for varying flow-rate and temperature, considerably reducing any measurement errors introduced by these two variables. USB connectivity is also provided on all of our dispensers allowing connection and interaction with a PC. Each dispenser is provided with a 12Vdc mains adapter allowing for low voltage operations, making it safe to use in damp environments or where liquids have been spilt.
